This week at Weekender

Well, it's still cold enough to make us long to head somewhere warm for a holiday, so we have created a special Travel issue of Weekender dedicated to those of you thinking about taking a trip to Thailand!

Check out our guide to visiting Thailand, including what to do, where to go, and what not to miss, for singles, couples, and families, and written by our Thailand correspondent. We're featuring the stunning Pimalai Resort & Spa, voted ‘Thailand's Leading Resort 2007' by the World Travel Awards 2007. We're also looking at scuba diving in Thailand, not forgetting information on how to keep your certifi cation current here in Tokyo.

Closer to home, this issue also includes useful information about taking a trip to Hakone, news about Blackberry's activities in Japan, and how to arrange a great souvenir in the form of a photo of the little ones in kimono.

And we've added four more pages from this issue—as we expand our Travel, Dining, and Business sections.

This issue, I'd like to introduce a new columnist—Ian de Stains, Executive Director of the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan. Ian is familiar to many of our readers, and we are very happy to have him join our team.

Enjoy!
