As the rainy season comes to a close and the humidity of the Japanese summer kicks in, we look to ways of beating the summer heat in this issue of Weekender. Danielle Tate-Stratton looks at products in the Japanese market that are designed specifically to keep you cool, and also those that eradicate the bugs that the heat may bring. We also take a look at places to take your kids to beat the heat; introducing waterparks in and around Japan and places to keep the kiddies educated and entertained during the summer holidays.
