Check out these local favorites for great summer specials to help beat the heat.
Starbucks is offering two new frappucino blended juice drinks this summer—Raspberry Cassis and Mango Passion. Tall: ¥440, Grande: ¥490, Venti: ¥540.
Tully’s is celebrating ten years in business with an Affogato Special (affogato is an espresso and ice creambased drink). S: ¥400, T ¥450, G: ¥500, E: ¥550. They are also offering summer Swirkle drinks, which are frozen beverages in flavors such as Mango Tango and Cassis Orange. S: ¥390, T: ¥450, G: ¥520, E: ¥580.
Juicer Bar, found in stations across Tokyo, has plenty of original summer offerings including Balsam Pear and Guava Juice, or Black Currant and Black Vinegar juice. R: ¥200, L: ¥280.
Ever-popular Coldstone Creamery has launched two special summer creations for 2007—Berry Coconut Cake (coconut ice cream, raspberry, sponge cake, and coconut), and Blushing Mango Cloud (mango ice cream, strawberry, mango, and whipped cream). Like It: ¥450, Love It: ¥580, Gotta Have It: ¥900, Take Out Pint: ¥1,300.
Segafredo Zanetti have taken their inspiration from the Italian summers with a line-up of lemon based treats, including a frozen drink named Lemon Granita (¥400), Lemon Chocolate Cake (¥450), Lemon Jelly (¥400), and a Lemon Puff (¥400).
