This week at Weekender

While many of us complain about Tokyo’s rush hour—it seems few cities have more volume—there is something appealing about hitting the open road in our very own car. This issue of Weekender celebrates all things auto, from adventuring across the deserts of the earth with Michael Martin and his BMW motorbike to an exciting racetrack driving-day for the kid-at-heart. Even if you don’t drive, there is a lot for you, from a motocross adventure for the whole family to an elegant day at Tokyo Midtown with Concours d’Elegance cars from another era. We hope this issue inspires you to take the spirit of a summer road trip to heart and head out onto the open road.
